MOUNTAIN VALLEY BREWING BBQ COOK-OFF RULES AND APPLICATION
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE UPCOMING BBQ COOK-OFF. WE'RE EXCITED TO HAVE YOU AND LOOKING FORWARD TO A FUN DAY AND SOME GREAT FOOD. BELOW PLEASE FIND SOME ADDITIONAL DETAILS/RULES:
COOKING RULES:

ALL BBQ MUST BE PREPARED ON-SITE AT THE VENUE (PORK, BEEF OR CHICKEN)

THE MINIMUM PREPARED QUANITY SHOULD BE 20 LBS

JUDGING WILL TAKE PLASE AT 3 PM

CONTESTANTS MAY PREPARE AND COOK THE BBQ IN ANY FASHION THEY PREFER, SO LONG AS IT IS SUITABLE TO BE SERVED TO THE PUBLIC.

SAFETY IS A PRIORITY! NO OPEN FIRES WILL BE PERMITTED UNDER ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS (HIGH WINDS) PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

EACH CONTESTANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SET-UP. THE VENUE WILL NOT PROVIDE TENTS/TABLES/CHAIRS, UTENSILS, PANS OR OTHER INGREDIENTS.

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN THE FOOD PREPARATION OR SERVING AREAS. GLOVES MUST BE WORN WHEN PREPARING AND SERVING BBQ. EACH CONTESTANT MUST MAINTAIN PROPER TEMPERATURE FOR SERVING AT ALL TIMES AND HAVE A THERMOMETER AVAILABLE TO VERIFY TEMPERATURES FOR FOOD SAFETY.

ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED AT THE VENUE. ANYONE IN POSSESSION OF OUTSIDE ALCOHOL WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY AND FORFEIT THEIR ENTRY FEE.
CLEAN-UP & EXITING:
ALL ENTRANTS ARE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEAN-UP FOLLOWING THE EVENT. PLEASE BRING TRASH CANS / BAGS AS NEEDED. LEAVE NO TRACE BEHIND
